Have been watching the active Strombolli volcano recently on Skyline. Messer if you go to photos posted one dscf2014.(not very good at putting names to them) you will see a pan tile roof surrounded by lava, this is a two story house believe it or not, I think it was the last eruption in 2008.

Wonder what's going on today with the huge Italian flag hanging from the building. Have people always been able to stand at the bottom left side of the screen before? If you're going but don't have an advance ticket, you buy your ticket INSIDE the Colosseum - just follow the queue where the barriers are (opposit the METRO exit) and ignore all the touts who are trying to sell you a guided tour with fastrack - if you say to them you just want admission and where to buy a ticket, they will send you anywhere as punishment! )In 2007, a new list of seven natural wonders for the modern world was announced and it was officially included, in 1980 it was added as a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is the Colosseum (also known as Coliseum) or Amphitheatrum Flavium, the largest, the most imposing and the best preserved amphitheatre of Ancient Rome, the emblem of Italy in the world.

Benidorm boasts around 6 km long luxuriant coastline including two stunning beaches known as Poniente Beach (Playa de Poniente, Platja de Ponent) and Levante Beach (Playa de Levante, Platja de Llevant) in the heart of White Coast (Costa Blanca); with a length of 3 km.

and a width of more than 100 m., Poniente Beach offers a number of shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs, hotels directly overlooking the sea, perfect for families with children, it is very close to the inner city and the old town center extending over a promontory, a very interesting spot for the curious tourists so attracted by its churches, monuments and surrounding areas.

Hello Roger, I'm sure you will have a great time even if you are on your own, Benidorm is the kind of place that gives you that feel good feeling, I will be there end of September and I'm so looking forward to it, enjoy.

And now thanks to our friends at Earth Cam, you can immerse yourself in the wonder of Atlantis, The Palm whenever your heart desires.Yn 2015 roedd na 11 o gartrefi, efo o leiaf un camera rhydd / am ddim. Hi Derek - went straight to this pic - thanks - definitely gives you a real insight into how devastating these flows are and how it affects the people who actually live on these volcanic islands! To just wander the alley ways through the quiet parts of town and discovering beautiful hideaway homes, gardens and a gouge with the serene sound of water flowing to the sea was just so beautiful. I´ve never been to Italy and Amalfi, so all the beauty I can "reach" is through the cams. Sometimes I do think this is not, so amazing such landscapes are :) Enjoy it and gave a good time there! I love having the opportunity to travel to Positano and the Amalfi Coast - never had a chance to visit these places, so the chance to "be" there through the skyline cams (and with no delay) is absolutely amazing. I love this view but also miss the other camera view with the little balcony. I´m sure Positano (the whole Amalfi indeed) is a lot more than I can see in here.
